Ordering FAQ

How much are the photos ?

Digital file $5.00

We are currently not offering prints for a number of reasons. This really does work out better for you though, previously the least expensive print was a 4 x 6 for $4.95 plus a $1.00 postage charge. Now you can just get the digital file and run it off at WalMart, local drug store , wherever for $5.00 for the file and about $ .25 for each print.

How do I get the digital files ?

Digital files are emailed to you full sized and are for non-commercial use only. They are usually sent out same day. If you ordered a number of them - say more than six or so you will be sent a link to download a zip file of the images.

For the 2007 season we have increased the resolution of the files - we're quite happy with the results so far. You will receive the full 2496x1664 image.

What about the photos from 2005 and 2006?

We do have them all archived but cannot put them all online. If you know the date and outfitter we will do a search for you - email us for additional details.

What about the on-site sales?

Due to the new location we are shooting from it is impossible for us to run the cards to the outfitters in time to meet the boats. Additionally it requires a team of five to make it happen - we tried it last year and ended up with all five showing up on the same day once. It's possible that I would do it from time to time by myself at the end of the day. I'll post details if it happens.

What about those other people selling photos?

I'll say that this is my third year shooting on the river. I've been shooting as a professional over 10 years now, I've been shooting high-speed sports for 6 of those. I think $19.99 for a 5x7 is a bit much (they took down the 4x6 option). From us that size is $5 for the file and $.25 for the print (they just added the option of digital files - $34.99 each). Oh and we'll have more than one shot to choose from.

Where are my pictures ?!?

Please look under the outfitter that you went with. After that we start asking questions like - were you wearing your life jacket, were you in a boat at the time, did your outfitter have your paddle marked? Also if you brought your own boat you'll be in with the indies - if the person behind you was with you but using an outfitters boat - I don't have any way of knowing you were together - look under the outfitter.

The photos are sequential - earlier times first. They now have the time in the filename as well.
